You asked me about my memories of my involvement with Wings so here goes. It was December, probably 1999 or 2000, in the gym at Southern. You and Bill came in on a Sunday to do the service. You told everyone that this was a good time to START READING THE BIBLE thru in a year. Well, I took your advice and did it. It changed my life forever! So thanks to you and God’s Word I turned my life around.

I’ve loved you from the first time I met you. You are special. You are a beautiful woman inside and out. I admired everything you did. I use to listen to the “so called” tough guys saying it was too cold, or its pouring outside so they were not going to church or class etc. But, low and behold here would come Lynne just like the mailman, rain, snow, shine, wind, etc. God bless you Lynne, you are really something! Your class on Healing For Damaged Emotions I loved! I couldn’t wait to see you coming in from week to week. You really had a profound impact on me, and even though I see you at Malaga from time to time I really wish I could spend more time with you, I really miss you when I don’t see you for awhile. I’ve enjoyed working on the Wings cottage at the camp and look forward to doing more work on it soon, or whatever else you need me to do for you.

If there were more people in the world like you it would be a much better place. I know there are other stories like mine, but I cannot thank you enough for giving me a priceless gift by introducing me to God.
